Happy Thought - 16th Sept 06
I woke up this morning feeling delicious. You know those days where for no particular reason you wake up and the sheets feel smooth, you stretch hugely on the bed, and it feels like all your senses woke up for no particular reason?
It was one of those days, even though the feeling only seems to last about 5 minutes.

This is my official birthday thought - as the sixteenth [was] my 40th birthday...and you know...
I DID FEEL FABULOUS for all of five minutes on my b-day until I realized where I was and what I had to deal with...heehehe...ahhh...but if you ever want to feel FABU (why did I use that term...oh yah, bourbon, giggle) use BEECH brand sheets on your bed and you will always wake up feeling like you feel asleep on a cloud and woke up in heavan -
Okay enough cliche....seriously....I get the point of the post, but I just get an extra jump on the day when those damn sheets are on our bed....I don't like shopping [seriously - I think I lost my sisterhood card over that and the fact I don't like chocolate...still] but give me a $10 coupon off at Bed, Bath and Beyond My Budget and a sale on "Beech" sheets and I will take out the first old lady or flatten a tire on the first Uber carriage I see...just get out of my way...and y'know...they could be puce, chartruse or taupe - heck, my eyes are CLOSED - I give a hoot....black works, just give me the damn sheets....
Now why did I write all that? Ah, I feel an infinity for you and I like your blog[s] - thanks for sharing.

I really hope you had a fabulous birthday with lots of lovely things and people around.
Honestly, I can't wait to be 40 and free (although i'm a bit scared of 30, because i haven't got ANYTHING at all sorted yet).
Actually I'm not a fan of shopping much either - except for ebay. ohmigod i wish i had never found ebay. Or that I was not ebay obsessed. Argh!!! Don't forget to get fitted because those are so easy to throw on the bed.
